Well done to Ryton Vipers for clocking up a number of honours in their first 11-a-side season. League winnners; League Cup Winners; quarter finals of U12's County Cup, and finally Winners at Skegness against 16 other national teams. Tremendous season, well done everyone.

I would just like to ask every member that reads these comments if they think at the end of season presentation should the golden boot award and most man of the match award be taken away when one lad aged 10 has won both?
I think this is very bad move and i would also like to say i think its not great on team building or does not show any qualities of a manager. I would like to see what views members have on this.

Great season 4 ryton u12's against all the odds we finished 5th and we deserved 2 be higher up in the league as at the start of the season we were expected to finish rock bottom. this season has had its ups and downs but through the downs we have pulled through!!!! and this season we also got 2 the semi-finals of the charlie thomas cup.AND FINALLY A BIG THANKS 2 JOHN AND DAVE WHO RAN THE TEAM SUPERBLY THROUGH THE SEASON!!!

Hi, love the website. Just wanted to comment on the Under 15's. I called in to the club yesterday and they were having a friendly with the Under 17's. Although they got beat I was very impressed at the way they played, a lot of the time they played the better football and it was only the extra years and physical presence of the older lads that was the difference. I was amazed when a parent told me that they had never won a game but they had made huge improvements towards the end of the season. From what I saw yesterday I'm sure that first victory will come very soon and I'd like to wish them all the best for next season.

just like to say well done 2 the lads for a gr8 result away 2 marske. they defended very well with the wind in the first half and did a professional job in the second half. gr8 goals from the three young lads, whilst the two older boys at the back, teesdale and blackett were brilliant. with the team strugglin through injuries and bans, i am excited at the prospect of a full strength team and the damage they will cause next season.

would just like to comment on the clubs recent signing of goalkeeper richard heiniger. i understand he is a northern ireland international, and after travelling to the games at penrith and seeing him play against prudhoe i can certianly see why. 4 successive clean sheets and the club moving into 3rd is gr8 news. it seems to be going somewhere now. come on ryton, push for promotion. teasdale is a legend!
