Health and Safety Policy

Ryton Football Club Health and Safety Policy Statement
The Management Committee of Ryton Football Club accepts and supports the requirements under the Health and Safety at Work Act 1974 and other health and safety legislation.

The Management Committee is fully committed to, and will actively promote, a positive safety culture amongst all who help them in the running of the Club. This will include the provision and maintenance of safe and healthy working conditions and equipment for all staff and visitors and the provision of such instruction and training as required. The Management Committee will also promote compliance with accident and incident reporting and investigation in order to improve health and safety performance.

The Management Committee expects all those who work in the Club to fulfil their legal and personal responsibilities for the health, safety and welfare of all who visit the Club in whatever capacity.

The Management Committee also expects all those who work in the Club to take reasonable care of their own health and safety and that of any other person who may be affected by their acts.

The clear aim of the Management Committee is to create a safe working environment for all who visit the Club.
